The two original meep gods, Hienb and Utvantos land on Pluto from their original, unknown planet.
1
The two original factions, Almara and Utvantos are founded. At this point in time, only soldier meeps are present, created by the gods themselves.
20
As the factions grow, the gods begin to realize that they alone cannot support their forces. For this, they create worker meeps, which do everything from refining food to making new meeps, and soon after, they create general meeps to lead the soldiers.
39
A mutation in a worker meep causes him to flee the factory and start the first city with many other similarly mutated worker meeps. The gods saw that this was good, so they let them be.
100
The twins Ethereal and Nazu are born.
120
The disgruntled general, Saltor, leads a failed coup against Utvantos. For this, he is expelled from Utvantos' ranks, along with his closest generals. He then spends much more time strengthening his forces. Even though he was expelled from Utvantos' army, there is no hostility between the two; Saltor simply wanted new rule, which he ended up achieving through this different method.
150
The twins' research into telepathic networking backfires, destroying Nazu's mind and sending them both into hiding.
160
Ethereal appeals to Hienb to learn light magic to attempt to heal his brother. Hienb refuses.
180
Utvantos becomes disgusted with that which has been and begins planning the "Rebirth".
200
Utvantos declares war on the rest of Pluto. Saltor and his underlings, now known as the faction "Tara" ally themselves with Utvantos. Hienb is forced to fight in his lonesome against the superior forces: Utvantos has more troops and Saltor has better trained troops. After a few days of intense fighting, the allied forces gain a foothold and use it to completely destroy Hienb's forces. Hienb has but a few hours to prepare himself for stasis.
0R
The allied forces have encircled the globe. Utvantos declares it the 0th year of the Rebirth.
20R
Ethereal has trained all this time, becoming skilled in hand to hand combat as well as sword-fighting. Unfortunately, he still does not possess the light magic that can heal his brother, and the only source of knowledge of this magic is in a magical coma. He realizes that his best bet is to join Tara.
25R
Ethereal moves quickly up the ranks, and Saltor himself takes notice, promoting him to an elite Phase Lancer squad. By deconstructing several phase lances, Ethereal derives a sort of power source, which he manages to condense into a gem and places on his forehead. This gem allows him to use the particle generation effects that the phase lances possess. As he uses this gem, however, he unknowingly weakens his terrestrial bonds. On its final use, his body falls, and his soul rises into a magical rift.
Nobody is able to explain this disappearance, and Ethereal's body is buried with official military honors.
30R
A young citizen meep, Xaren, stumbles upon Nazu's unconscious body, which had been lying there without Ethereal to tend to it. From his studies, he realizes that this is one of the famous twins, but also realizes that he cannot share his discovery. He spends many years at the library, trying to figure out how to bring Nazu back to consciousness.
36R
Ethereal's purification of his soul has completed, and he has found a way to recreate the terrestrial bonds. Now his soul is bound to the soil once more, but he has no body with which to enact change. He uses the intense power of the rift to reconstruct his body, and goes to find his brother.
48R
Now 18 years older, Xaren has forgotten about Nazu and his wish to save him, for he has been placed in jail for practicing unauthorized magic. His loneliness and anger condense into paranoia. One night, he bursts out of his cell, killing all the guards, sparing only those who bothered to plead for their lives.
Ethereal's presence has been sensed by Utvantos because of his light magic. He is able to do this because he is more sensitive to Hienb's frequency of magic.
50R
In part caused by Xaren's work, Nazu begins to regain consciousness. By now, his body has been covered in vines as the cave sought to retake his body.
51R
Ethereal creates his own elite squad of dragon meeps in his pursuit of his brother. Both he and Xaren are now on the run from the greater Utvantos and Taran powers.
52R
Ethereal unwittingly meets Xaren. After making sure that Xaren is not affiliated with either faction, he explains his mission, which is when Xaren remembers Nazu's location and his cause to save him. He directs Ethereal towards Nazu.
53R
Nazu is fully conscious, but is unable to break free from the vines that hold him. Upon finding him, Ethereal slices away the vines and cries for the first time. Nazu, however, does not have any recollection of his brother, but thanks him for freeing him and goes on his separate way.
100R
Ethereal's forces have grown to a few thousand in number, and Xaren has his own group of followers.
101R
After killing a band of Tarans, Xaren takes apart a phase lance, corrupting the crystal inside indefinitely. He uses it as a channeling stone, binding all who swore an oath to him.
102R
Nazu finds Hienb. Suddenly, he realizes that his memories are not actually his own; they are Ethereal's. This is why he recognizes Hienb, but not his own brother. At the same time, he is not sure whether he should bother freeing he who refused to help Ethereal and by course, himself, but realizes that Hienb could be a potential ally.
When Hienb's stasis bubble breaks, he immediately strikes out at Nazu. Nazu easily parries the blow and all the rest of the eventual onslaught. He notices that Hienb's magic is no longer light-based, but water-based, which he attributes to one of the effects of the stasis. Hienb understands that his attacks are not doing anything to Nazu, and forces him out instead by sheer will. He tunnels himself below the surface, splitting the two continents and creating an underwater city. For this, he creates new Almaran citizens, the kind of which had not been since since the rebirth.
With this event, the allied forces realize that they had skimmed over the underground forces of Ethereal and Xaren, and declare war once more on the world.
103R
The forces are significantly more balanced, and they are now at a stalemate.
110R
Nazu has tapped into his terrestrial bonds, moving in the opposite direction of Ethereal, and creates an army from the very air. This army skews the balance against the allied forces. Instead of conquering the world, Nazu proposes an equal division: Hienb receives the ocean, Utvantos receives the netherworld, Xareneth receives the poles, Saltor receives the lower continent, Ethereal receives the upper continent, and Nazu receives Pluto's moons.
The pact is signed.
463R
Our hero is born.
500R
Utvantos becomes unsettled with the terms of the pact, and declares war on the world once more, after secretly building up his forces. Tara allies itself once more with Utvantos. Venios, Nazu's faction, and Ethereal ally with each other. Almara is unaffiliated, and Xareneth allies with Ethereal for economic purposes.
